I was just reading an article about how before Prohibition, CocaCola, and many cough syrups contained cocaine. Sore throat remedies from the Bayer Corporation had heroin in them. Drops for babies to help during teething had morphine in them. Okay so I finally understand why old people always called those the "good old days". Can you imagine what it was like during Prohibition though when you couldn't even have a beer? I bet there were a lot edgey people running around. Damned Temperance movement.
