The long hours of sweat and study and laps after practice and pouring over the entire set of the Encylopedia Brittanica and binge drinking so there's no drop off before the last round, paid off!
Actually the team won last week as well without yours truly. Obviously a fluke. Although I can't say I answered all that many last night, but I am sure my leadership is of immeasurable importance to the effort. And just as we set out, lo those many weekes ago to beat the obnoxious team who won after some of their snotty comments so now are we the hated, obnoxious winners. And I love it. Whoever said it's not if you win or lose but how you play the game is a dumbass.
All those "modern socialistic it's not fair that some win and some don't" buffons can stuff it because nothing is better than a competition that let's you prove that you are smarter and better than the rest and then allows you to rub it in their faces! That's as American as Mom, apple pie, and the Olsen Twins my friends. God Bless America! A land that rewards the cream of the crop with a $35 bar tab!!
